RATES

$250 per set*     |     minimum 2 sets for a single event

$250 Officiant services (may book 1 set  of music with officiant services)

$200 non-refundable deposit** required to secure the date

$50 trip fee in San Diego County, Temecula, & Orange County

$100 trip fee to other areas such as Palm Springs and Los Angeles.

Travel fee will vary for any events outside of Southern California and will likely need to include night accommodations and food for both me and my assistant.

SUGGESTED PERFORMANCE TIMES

  • BRIDAL SHOWER, ENGAGEMENT PARTY, REHEARSAL DINNER  why wait until your wedding day to be serenaded by your favorite love songs? Book me for your pre-ceremony events and parties!

  • GUEST ARRIVAL - the time between when guests arrive up until the beginning of the ceremony. I can also make announcements for guests to take their seats.

  • CEREMONY - If the ceremony and the reception/cocktail area are in the same vicinity where I do not need to move any equipment I can perform the processional and recessional songs or any other special songs*** during the ceremony at no additional cost. If the equipment needs to be relocated (at the same venue) I will need to charge an additional $100. If it is at an entirely different venue I would need to charge the full set rate.

  • COCKTAIL HOUR - This usually immediately follows the wedding and is during the photo session with the wedding party and family members. Don't worry about your guests. Let me entertain them while they mix and mingle and chat about your beautiful event. Emcee services available throughout the event for announcements and asking guests to be seated or move to another location.

  • DINNER - I can continue to entertain your guests through the dinner portion up through the toast and cake cutting making announcements as needed.

  • FIRST DANCES - Everyone has a special song they want to dance to with their new spouse as well as dances with parents or other family members. Let me serenade you with your favorite classic tunes while you cut a rug.

  • DANCING - Most of the time people are going to want to bring in a DJ to play the Top 40 Hits, Hip Hop, Rock N' Roll and other favorites, although some people do want to stick with the classic jazz, blues and swing tunes that I offer.

 

What else is included?

I will be more than happy to perform all your favorite songs that you can hand select from my full song list. Please let me know your wedding theme and/or colors so that I may dress accordingly since I like to "match" as part of your event.

 

I can and will usually provide all my own sound equipment to accommodate a space for up to 200 people at no additional charge for local events. All I need from you is a small table with your matching linens on it and a grounded outlet within 20ft of my performance area. If you have me singing outside I will need a canopy provided for daytime events or a heat lamp if it is during the cooler seasons. If you would prefer for me to use my vintage microphone at the event, please let me know. This equipment is not available out of state or if I need to travel by plane.

 

I have an assistant, my spouse, Rene Cosby, who accompanies me to ALL events. She helps me load in, set up my PA system and equipment, monitors my sound, answer questions, conveys messages from host to me during my performance and break down. If you would like her to leave during the ceremony or "make herself scarce"during your private event, we understand and that is okay if you let me know in advance. Neither of us drink alcohol during events, however water will always need to be provided and a meal will need to be made available for events lasting longer than 3 hours.

*a set is a period where I sing approximately 40-45 minutes and take a 15-20 minute break between.

**this deposit will secure the date for the event, if the date is changed the deposit can be used towards the new date only if I am available. If for any reason I am unavailable on the new date you can use the deposit to schedule a different event with me or forfeit the deposit altogether. If for any reason I need to cancel my appearance at your event I will refund the deposit to you within a 60 day period.

***If there is a song you want that is NOT currently on my list that I would need to learn there is an additional $40 charge, but I would not charge you unless I could definitely do the song you request and the track is available.
