Peace, Love & Blessings to you....

You are likely on this page because someone you love has recently passed—or is nearing the end of life and I want you to know I am here to support you and have a close personal understanding that grief can be tender, complex, layered, and often indescribable.  I will never pretend to know exactly how you feel or what you have been through, but I am here to support you in any way I can with deep empathy and tenderness. I care about your experience of loss, no matter the relationship you shared, the history you carry, or how you’re grieving.

My role is to bring steadiness, beauty, and meaning—so your loved one's life is honored with a deep sense of respect for who they really were in life and their values, and those who remain in the living world feel supported, connected, held and seen. I want to honor your loved one with truth, authenticity and expressing who and how they chose to live their life.

Below are the three very different ways I can support their transition & rememberance.

MEMORIAL OFFICIANT & SOLOIST SERVICES

First off you should know, I’m an ordained, non-denominational minister

(Universal Life Church, ordained since 2013) and a seasoned professional vocalist.

My goal is to assist in creating ceremonies that feel personal, grounded, and true to the person being honored—while keeping everything organized and flowing smoothly for ultimate peace of mind. I want you to understand and feel like I am the right choice by perfect transparency of the process with which we will co-create this farewell ceremony.

Multiple Types of Events & Venues Supported

  • Celebrations of Life

  • Memorials

  • Graveside Services

  • Burials-at-Sea

The Process & Method of Ceremony Preparation

  • I send the loved ones coordinating with me a questionnaire (that may be forwarded or shared with any surviving loved ones) that asks questions about the life and values of the deceased.

  • I then write a custom ceremony with your loved ones values, faith, and preferred tone in mind.

  • Guided pre-planning support: We can walk through structure, readings, guest speakers, song selections, pacing, and timing including any extra special rituals you want to include.

The Typical Structured Outline of The Ceremony

  • Optional Live Music During Guest Arrival

  • Thoughtful introduction + life summary (based on what you share with me)

  • Optional readings: scripture, poems, blessings, cultural traditions, or meaningful passages

  • Coordination of selected & volunteer speakers (family & friends): order, transitions, and timing

    • Pre-Recorded eulogies, speeches or poems by attendees unable to be present or or unable to speak in front of an audience are welcome. There are many ways to include the voices of those not present or not able to speak and I want to make sure those voices are heard.

  • Clear opening + closing, with any announcements or invitations for gatherings afterward

  • Solo Perfomance of 3 Selected songs during the ceremony (opening / reflection / closing)

    • Songs may be performed live by me or played as recordings that are sent to me prior.

Optional Reception Performance

If the family would like I am also happy to continued support as an emcee, allowing for more continued speeches, storytelling or reading any other passages, prayers or blessings at the same or alternate location of the reception including performance of music. I offer this as an hourly charge of live performance at the same rate I charge for special events with a 2 hour minimum for anything after 4pm.

SOUND HEALING TRANSITION & GRIEF SUPPORT SERVICES

Resté In Peace - Transitional Support Sound Sessions

"At the end of life, the greatest gifts we can offer are love, presence, and permission to let go."

- Celeste Barbier

What does "Transitional Sound Sessions" even mean?

I use sound healing—crystal bowls, chimes, drums, gongs, rain sticks, nature sounds, and voice—along with meaningful song and gentle ceremony to support a loved one before they transition.

When appropriate, my wife René may join me to offer Reiki energy support for everyone present, helping create a calm, held, peaceful space for both the person in transition and their loved ones.

These sessions are sometimes described as sound baths, sound meditations, or sound journeys, though the intention here is different than a typical sound bath for the living. This work is designed specifically to bring comfort, safety, and permission—supporting the person who is dying to cross that threshold with greater ease, and without fear or guilt.

This offering can be beautifully paired with hospice care and/or a death doula. If you’d like, I can refer you to a trusted death doula. Neither hospice nor a doula is required for this work to be meaningful.

Disclaimer:

These transitional sound offerings are ceremonial in nature and may feel spiritual, metaphysical, or unconventional. They are best suited for individuals and families who feel comfortable with this style of support—such as sound baths, crystals, drumming, energy work, and sacred circle ceremony.

Out of deep respect for all faith traditions, I only offer this work when it aligns with the values and comfort level of the person who is transitioning. If someone holds a strict religious belief system that would experience these practices as inappropriate or distressing, I will lovingly decline. My priority is always to protect the peace, dignity, and sense of safety of the person in transition.

This work is never meant to be persuasive or imposed. It is offered only by invitation and with full consent from those present.
